Ferry Farm - Thrumpton- River Trent
ABOUT THIS VENUE | |||||||||||||||||||
Members are allowed to night fish this section of the Trent Take a look at this fantastic footage of the Thrumpton Ferry Farm River Section: The Trent here is deep close in. Most baits work here also, with maggots and casters catching some of the lovely Roach and Chub that lives along here. The odd Zander as made an appearance so too as the Pike. Some Huge carp also show from time to time all along the stretch. Fish the boilie or pellet and you can expect to catch some big Bream too. Health and safety issues to be aware of - Please do not fish between pegs 5 & 6 as the bank is eroding. The planks on peg 5 are narrow although it does have a hand rail - please take care. There are quite a few trees on this venue some are very old please take care during high winds. Also note that the water is very deep close in on this venue, take care on the bank. |
